Frequently asked questions

One 4 litre pot of Milieu paint covers 30–40m² (one coat). You can also use our paint calculator to count how much paint you need for your project. You'll find the paint calculator by clicking any shade on our colour chart.

Milieu paint is suitable for board, wallpaper, plaster, and concrete surfaces.

Can I paint mouldings and doors with Milieu paint?

Yes you can, as Milieu paint is also suitable for wooden surfaces.

The Milieu shades are designed to match our existing kitchen, wardrobe, and sideboard colours. However, the colours are never an exact match because the gloss level of Milieu paints and paint used for our kitchens and storage units is different. Also, the painting technique and surfaces are different, which affects the finish.

Milieu's manufacturing process eliminates the need for added preservatives, using a precise formula and natural preservation methods to preserve the paint. The paint however contains trace amounts of preservatives that originate from the tinting paste.
