Safety and ecology has been at the heart of the development process. Milieu paints are new generation water-based paints produced in Finland. Zero-VOC rated, allergen-free, preservative-free, and odorless paints have been developed together with the Finnish Allergy, Skin and Asthma Association.

“Milieu is an exceptional interior paint. It doesn’t contain any harmful preservatives, and its emission levels are extremely low. Milieu also meets the allergy criteria by a far margin. We believe that Milieu sets a new standard for the whole industry what comes to developing safer and more environmentally friendly paints”, says Niki Malmros from the Finnish Allergy, Skin and Asthma Federation. 

Inspiration for the color palette was drawn from Scandinavian architecture, and the hues were carefully designed by architects and designers to create a modern yet timeless color scheme
