“We see human presence and life as the fuel in our designs and believe that people facilitate and secure the success of the projects and make them last over time.”
Leena Kouhia is a ceramic artist known to walk her own path. She breaks the boundaries of traditional design with her intuitive and raw style. She embraces the beauty of imperfection and rough shapes.
Her ceramic art and tableware can be seen in finest restaurants and in the homes of people who seek unique design. Leena sees the ceramic material as a touch between two human beings.
“Every time one touches a ceramic object that is handmade, they touch the hand of the maker.”
