Understanding Cover Panels

Cover panels serve the purpose of integrating your cabinet frame seamlessly to the space. These multi-functional panels can play three distinct roles: side panel, spacer panel, or top panel. A filler piece is cut from a cover panel and fills the space between the cabinet and walls.

The side panel: A Harmonious Finish

After installing your doors or drawer fronts, the sides of the cabinet frames might remain visible. This becomes noticeable, especially with wall-mounted or floor-standing cabinets at the end of a row. The side panels are installed at the ends of the cabinets concealing these exposed areas and contributing to a harmonious and complete look.

The Spacer Panel: Bridging The Gap

Spacer panels are used to create vertical paneling or framing for cabinet doors and drawers. Spacer panel gives the cabinet a structured look without compromising door and drawer functionality. Panels can be placed in flush alignment with the cabinet or 9mm out from the cabinet frame giving the cabinet a bit more edgy look.

The Top Panel: Elevating Style

Often overlooked, the top panel plays a pivotal role in not just completing the look of your cabinet but in elevating the entire style quotient of your space. Top panels share similarities with side panels but are placed on the top of a cabinet. These panels are positioned to ensure appealing aesthetics by creating a frame effect above the cabinet.

Filler Piece: Maximizing functionality and aesthetics

A filler piece can play a crucial role in achieving a seamless and functional cabinet layout. It is a carefully crafted piece of finished wood designed to fill gaps or openings between cabinets, or between a cabinet and any obstruction within the space. The primary purpose of a filler is to ensure that cabinet doors and drawers can operate smoothly without any hindrance while keeping up the aesthetic flush alignment with the cabinet.

Size Matters

The thickness of the cover panel is 19 mm, making it a sturdy and durable solution. This feature is important to consider when planning the overall design, ensuring a harmonious connection with your other furnishings. We also offer custom cover panels for the ends and back of your island, precisely cut to your specifications. Our cover panels use the same refined material and quality as the doors of our furniture, ensuring a cohesive and stylish appearance in your space. Take note of potential unevenness in your floor. We recommend adding a few extra centimeters to the height of the cover panel, ensuring an aesthetic result even if the floor is not perfectly level. By choosing our precision-cut cover panels, you not only opt for a high-quality solution but also the opportunity to customize your space according to your needs. Get in touch, and we'll assist you in creating the perfect cover panel solution for your space.
